UBA To Partner NYSC On Entrepreneurship Training

The United Bank for Africa has offered to partner with the National Youth Service Corps as its contribution to boost the Scheme’s Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development training for Corps Members, likewise Health Initiative for Rural Dwellers among other programmes.

Speaking through it’s Group Head, EMDOS and Public Sector, Mr Eke Ogba, during a courtesy visit to the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja, the bank said UBA is involved in youth entrepreneurial programme where youths are trained on entrepreneurship with cash support of five thousand dollars as seed capital.

Ogba added that the footprints of the NYSC through Corps Members’ interventions and community development projects are visible all over the country.

He said the collaboration between UBA and NYSC would be of mutual benefits to both organizations.

In his response, the NYSC Director General, Brigadier General YD Ahmed appreciated the UBA team for the visit. He said the Scheme
