South Africa Launched The NPMN Service Center

South Africa have launched the National Pathway Management Network (NPMN) Service Centre today the 16th of February 2024 at Empangeni.

According to management, the Centre will serve as a centralised hub for youth empowerment, offering a wide range of resources and support services to help young people from Empangeni and surrounding areas, navigate their educational and career pathways successfully.

These career pathways include, but not limited to Entrepreneurship Support, Education and Training Resources, Job Preparedness and Placement Services, as well as National Youth Service.

The NYDA CEO, Waseem Carrim, stated at the launch that they are giving 80 opportunities to unemployed young people in the launch and there will be 100 people who will have job opportunities after the launch because of this engagement.

Opportunities are important. We are here to provide opportunities to you as young people. Use the National Pathway Management Network Service Centre as much as you can. We want to leave no young person behind, he stated.

Opportunity providers will be able to be connected to skilled and motivated youth through the National Pathway Management Network (NPMN).

NYDA Executive Chairperson, Ms. Asanda Luwaca also stated that they want to ensure that young people have access to skills training and educational system reforms.We want to promote growth and see jobs being created through these platforms, she stated.
