Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be a full-time undergraduate or joint undergraduate/master’s student.
  • Be a citizen of Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
  • Arrive in Canada between May 1 and October 31, 2022, and be available for a 12-week internship.
  • Possess a valid passport that is valid until at least January 2023.
  • Provide an official transcript in English or French from your home university.
  • Submit at least one letter of reference from a professor or research supervisor.
  • Include a detailed CV and research experiment in your application.
  • Apply for at least three and at most seven projects, making sure to select from at least three different Canadian provinces.

Application Deadline:

The deadline for faculty applications was June 8th, 2032. The deadline for student applications for the summer of 2023 is September 20th, 2023.
