The University of Waterloo Perimeter Scholars International Award 2022 is currently accepting applications. Candidates (both local and foreign) interested in a Master’s degree in Science – Physics, and Astronomy are encouraged to apply.
Students selected into the Perimeter Scholars International Study will receive full financial assistance for the duration of their program. The University of Waterloo will provide tuition scholarships and grants by Perimeter Institute (PI) to cover expenditures such as travel, lodging, food, textbooks and reference material, student services fees, and incidental stipends as determined by PI.
The university intends to help overseas students who have shown strong academic achievement as well as real financial difficulty via this fellowship. Each student will get a $30,000 stipend as well as full financial assistance for their studies in Canada.

School Of Chemistry (CO-OP)
The academic requirements are the same as for the Regular Thesis Option, with the exception that at least two of the required four courses must be completed within the first two terms of the program. Following the second term, the student will work in an industry or government laboratory for two terms (eight months), after which they must give an approved work report. When the student returns to college, they will finish their course work, do research, and write their M.Sc. thesis. Domestic students are the only ones who have this choice.
